THE WESTCOAST STORY
In 1997, one of the founders, Dr. Andrew H.F.Tsang traveled to Vietnam to visit close Vietnamese friends. Realizing at that time there were no international clinics, he came back with a passion to start an international clinic. Touched by the Vietnamese people, he decided he would do more to help more people in general by staying in Vietnam.
“My father waited his whole life to get dental treatment done because he felt he couldn’t afford it in Canada.” He saw a win win situation of developing a leading healthcare service which helps those in the country and helping those outside of the country who would not be able to receive access to care in their home countries.
“Andrew’s obsession and philosophy is to bring great service and top quality at reasonable price is a reason why many people from around the world are coming to Vietnam for treatment,” says, Dr. Ashish Vashisht, one of the Canadian founding dentists who flies to Vietnam to support Westcoast.
